Aim of Activity

10 - 15 minutes

To provide learners with a controlled practice of ‘Can you? Yes, I can/ No, I can’t’

Steps for Students

Interview your partner and give them time to circle and choose their answer.
Next, answer your partner’s questions and choose your answer.
Share with your class/teacher what your partner can/can’t do.

Print out the worksheet or display on the Interactive Board
Group children into pairs and ask then to read out the question to their partner.
Tell them to circle the answer.
After they can present information about their partner to the class.

Listen for correct pronunciation of target language.
